Rolling a mortgage into a heloc

Hello everyone,

I am new to BP and I'm excited to learn from all of you. To get started I wanted to ask if anyone here has experience rolling a mortgage into a home equity line of credit in Utah? The more I look into it the more it seems like a great way to pay down a house quicker then a conventional mortgage. I'm currently looking at saving around 15 years or so of my mortgage if I don't have any increase in income, which would be fantastic. But I'm wondering if anyone here has done this and if there is anything to look out for when looking for a bank to use.
