Looking into hard money loan options for construction in GA

I have a 17 acre lot I want to build two homes on, and two buyers for purchase .  I need money for Construction and too many impossible hoops in conventional loans.

These homes must be complete before they are able to purchase.

I have 40% to put down.  Is hard money a good option for a 1 yr max to finish?  Or any options I'm not thinking of?  (I'm sure there are)
