Quit Your 9-5 Job!!!!!

I saw this post from Aleksey Chernobelskiy and boy did it resonate. Whether it says Passive LP, creative financing, fix and flipping, notes, Short Term Rentals, seller financing  etc - I am at the bottom - I can scream no but I far too often hear stories of people quitting their job to pursue real estate and then end up very unsuccessful.

Whichever and whoever's Kool-aid you are drinking I want people to be real with themselves. The chances of you quitting your 9-5 and doing real estate full time and being successful is similar to the photo below where everyone at the top in the crowd is thinking they can do it, and there is one person for every few thousand that can do it.  Now of course people will respond to this post that they did it, but there are also 2M+ people on BP and I would be curious to see how many have tried and failed?

For those who did quit, what was your job prior and how much were you making and how old were you and how old are you now?
