Real Estate IRA a good option?

Hi BP community. I am looking at options for my next property and I have a decent amount saved in my traditional IRA. I recently learned about Real Estate IRAs and was curious if anyone has used one to acquire a property. I could not find any recent convos on the forums regarding this topic. I am considering the self-directed real estate IRA LLC option. Anyone with experience going down this path? Thanks in advance for the insight.
