Looking to help someone with no credit

I'm trying to find out how to have my friend make payments for renting through some kind of servicing center that will help build his credit and give him down payment at the same time to eventually buy the home he's renting I heard about a servicing center that pace morby mentioned doing this for his renters but I don't know how to find this in the northern Michigan area
