Appreciation with Subject To
Hi BP Community,
I currently rent in the Santa Monica area so that I can be close to work. My goal is to buy a condo in this area using the subject to method. Since this method relies on keeping the existing mortgage in the sellers name, would I only benefit from appreciation when the property is sold or refinanced? If so, does that mean that this method relies mostly on cash flow?
Best regards,
Joshua Jackson
