Raised wife's credit score to 720+ but had to use authorized user
I'm a veteran that plans on using the v.a loan to purchase a 4 or 3 unit in l.a.
I recently helped my wife raise her credit score to 725 with the help of my mom. She made her an authorized user on some of her credit lines. I was wondering if when we submit the application to qualify if my mom's debt to Income ratio is going to be a factor. Or if she should get taken off and start her own credit lines and leave them at zero? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I would recommend building your own credit history and your wife's. If anything happens to your mom's card that could be a problem for the two out you.
