Cash partner split advice
I am setting up a partnership with a friend and we're curious about some thoughts on the % of ownership.
Partner A will provide the $ for down payment and be mostly hands off. Partner B will handle the day-to-day responsibilities of the company, source the deals, etc. Both partners will have financial responsibility on the note and any expenses after acquisition would be split 50/50.
What makes sense from an ownership % perspective if Partner A provides all of the up front $? Thanks for your thoughts.
