Choosing a hard money lender

Hey everyone!

I’m looking to get more information on hard money lending (and meet some lenders). I’ve done a few deal but have always used my money and traditional financing. I want to scale my investment portfolio by working with hml but don’t know where to start. Do I need a deal first? Or have a hml before I find the deal?

Replied

@Randy Egter van Wissekerke When you are comparing different hard money lenders (or really any service business for that matter), I always suggest asking them what percentage of their business is repeat customers. If they don't know or won't tell you, that tells you everything you need to know, in my opinion.
