Refinancing large multifamily: agency debt or insurance co?
We (family) are in the process of refinancing a 152 unit apartment complex and have some very attractive offers. We will remain below 50% LTV even after the refinance. Is there a reason to prefer agency lenders over insurance company lenders or vice versa? Or defeasance over yield maintenance?
