Financing an auctioned property

Hello All,

I'm new to real estate investing and I've been doing a lot of research. I'm not going to lie and say that I'm not nervous or afraid to fail at it. All I know is that investing in real estate can be lucrative.

I've recently started looking into properties that are up for auction because of foreclosure. I have an idea about how to do it, but I'm not sure about the financial portion. Basically how would I get a loan to pay for the property. Since most auctions want cash, how would I pay for it without actually having the cash. I would really appreciate feedback. This is something I'm really serious about.

Thank you for your time!

Desmond
