Hello everyone. I currently have my eyes on my first duplex. New build in 2018. Owned by one of my Army buddies who moved back home and is looking to sell. I am willing to do a 20% down payment, but the pre-qualified offers I'm getting are 9% APR. Is this normal for this type of property? My D/E is good, only owe on my car, credit score in the 800's. No red flags. Seems kind of high at this time, but I'm new so want to make sure. TIA for your input.
