Buying 1st 3 unit- How do I go conventional without moving in?
This will be my first buy-and-hold investment property. My wife does not want to move our of our single fam and into one of the units so I’m wondering how do I stay with a conventional loan versus a higher interest rate commercial loan?
Note: The conventional mortgage broker I contacted could not find any comps and advised that I go commercial. I would like to avoid that.
