Renovation Loan for Duplex Investment Property

Russ Odom
Posted

BP,

I have successfully used a 30 year, conventional renovation loan for a single family investment property in the past.

I just got a duplex under contract, expecting to use the same loan product - of the two lenders I was counting on, one doesn't support this product for investment property, the other does not support the product for Multi-family.

Does anyone have lender recommendations for multi-family, renovation loans for investment property?  There are two buildings on the property, and we will only be rehabbing one of the two buildings with the funds from this loan.

I am busy making calls, hoping for a warm introduction for support here in Austin, TX!

Thank you,

Russell Odom
