I’m from West Africa and I have been living in state for 6 years. I have a working permit and a social security. I’m a full time electrician and have some knowledge in framing, hanging, painting and installing kitchen cabinets and other things.

I have a good credit and I have 4 STR in Florida ( Tallahassee).

I'm interested in investing in real estate like buying STR properties or rentals . I have been listening to the BP RE podcast for while and reading books to educate myself.

Now, I don’t know how to start because i don’t know if I can get a loan since I’m not a green card holder yet. Also, I don’t have a primary home yet. So, is it better to get a primary house first before getting an investment house if in eligible for a loan ?

Thank you helping.

God bless you

 Take a look here: https://singlefamily.fanniemae...

That's general guidance from Fannie Mae dot com. Individual banks/lenders/etc are allowed to be more restrictive than that if they wish ("mortgage overlay"), but if you can check all the boxes there, then you at least know that someone will be able to help you. :)
