New to World of Wholesaling

I am looking to start my career in Real Estate with Wholesaling/Flipping. Im not financially equipped. I work a full time job enough to pay the bills. One thing I am having trouble with is proof of funds. I want to look into a private investor but I do not have a portfolio of any kind. How would I go about moving forward to pursue my first wholesale or flip with no capital?
