Denied by Lender because I’m out of state

I’m looking to be an out of state investor but a local lender of that town just told me that they don’t lend to out of state investors.

Is this common? I want to know before I start calling my list of other lenders.

You will need a foreign entity registration for that state. Pretty simple to set up, this way you will be registered in that banks state!
