Working on my first deal. Property loan

Hi Everyone, I'm pretty much a newbie working on my first deal which will be a loan to an investor.  I am in Missouri. I do have an experienced associate who I am working with to make this loan to the investor.  However, I want to make sure we are using the best and appropriate loan documents for this private/hard money loan.  I am wondering if anyone can offer me any guidance on what documents are appropriate to use in Missouri?  Thanks
