Financing for first property

Hi all,

My business partner and I are looking at purchasing our first property. It is a single family home near a university. We have a couple questions around a down payments. Are there any ways to purchase a home without having to put 20-25% down? Most banks we have talked with are requiring that kind of down payment. We don’t want to miss out on this house but don’t currently have all the cash to meet the down payment requirements. Any advise would be helpful!
