Does anyone know if Assured lending- Corona CA is Legit ?
I recently posted On Bigger pockets about needing gap funds. I was emailed by A Person who works for Assured Lending LP in CA. I asked for License info and they said there private money lenders so no license is needed.
I was a bit concerned after they wanted up front money to order an appraisal & home inspection.
Im Not liking the smell of this? Has anyone here ever worked with this private lender?
Thanks !

Baloney.
To call yourself a lender in California, you must be licensed in California, @Marco Chaidez. Period.
Even if they gave you a license you could look up, or a website, or pointed to an LLC in good standing with the state, would that assure you it’s really them? (Sorry for the bad pun). How would you tell?
More importantly, why are you soliciting loans from online strangers?
Be careful, Marco.
