Borrowing friends cash

I want to borrow a friends money to fund the purchase and rehab of a BRRRR. I might have to ask multiple people if the first friend isn't willing to fund the whole project. How should I pay them back? How would I structure their ROI, equity in the deal, or interest if they want to reinvest? Any other options for how I can pay them back?
