Anyone used ING Direct recently for a purchase mortgage?
I've had savings/checking accounts with INGDirect for years, never had a problem. Lately I've gotten promo offers for their 5/1 and 7/1 ARM loans. Rates and terms (so far) look competitive.
When I called the 800 number, the rep confirmed they hold their own loans and that the number of loans I already have (6 financed properties) would not be an problem.
They do not issue pre-quals, and you must have a purchase agreement before beginning the application process.
Has anyone used them? Thanks!
