amerifund offering 10 yr IO FIXED--Anyone experienced with them?
amerifund home mortgage is offering me a 6.6% 10 yr IO loan with 3 pts and $1400 underwriting fee. years 11-30 @6.6% amortized over 20 years. this is a 65% LTV cash out refi and that rate is valid with scores as low as 686 (70% LTV with 700+ score but rates are slightly higher). AND it loans on properties with a DSCR of less than 1.
am I missing something? because they check ALL my boxes. and I never heard of them, nor have others I know in the industry. I found them online. apparently, they are based in NY.
Any suggestions on how I go about doing due diligence on this company would be sincerely appreciated. these 2 properties are the only significant assets I have.
