Would a bank give me a loan if I'm on disability?

Currently have 6k in savings and getting 2600 a month in disablity. I have a back operation coming up in july and I'm projected to be out of work for 6 months. I've already been out 7 months. I want to purchase a house for about 100k in NC? What can I do to get started?
