Alternative Mortgage Loans or Options

Jeremy Baldwin
Posted

Hello all!

I’m new to BiggerPockets so hopefully I got the posting and category correct and I’m posting in the right place...

My wife and I are selling our house in FL and looking to purchase a more expensive one closer to the Beaches, but we’re running into issues with conventional financing and looking for alternative options, if possible.

Any knowledge and/or recommendations  is greatly appreciated.

Situation:

I’m a nurse and presently working part-time at the hospital I’ve been working at for the last 9 yrs. Went part-time 1.5 yrs ago.

Started a construction, custom wood working business 11 months ago, been in the industry for 15 years. Business is going very well.

Continuing to be turned down and told there’s no options by lenders and mortgage brokers.

Just wondering if there’s any other options or recommendations.

Thank you guys!
