80/20 loans

i was talking to a gal that works for a title company and she was telling me about 80/20 loans. she said in our market, las vegas, there are plenty of notice of defaults and forclosures happening.

as a result of these 80/20's, there isn't any mortgage insurance. she said it won't be a suprise if a lender or two goes under in the near future. do you guys think she is on to something?
