Quitclaim deed questions

My ex boyfriend and I purchased property together as tenants in common when we were in a relationship. We were both on title but he was the only one on mortgage due to my poor credit. After our break up, he decided to buy himself an investment property. He is in escrow, but he quit claimed his interest on the properties we owned together. The mortgages continues to be under his name. Will this affect his current escrow? If so, is there something I can do to fix this?
