Private Lender Scam Alert
Hello,
I reached out to 5 private lenders and only two of them seemed legit. I spent almost a week going back and forth with them but in the end they both wanted a $800 plus upfront fee. One sent me a nice certified letter with his Ohio LLC name on it in the State of Florida. When I found no records of him having a business in the state of Ohio, I reached out to him to confirm it was Ohio. His reply was yes and also reminded me it was on the letter. He sure seemed legit and a married man on his Facebook profile as well as the other party seeming legit. After I informed him that I was not able to locate his business on the Ohio Secretary of State website, he quit responding. Please note: This person is listed on the www.privatelendershome.com website.
