Orlando “Local” Banks

In the podcast I hear a lot about building relationships with local banks and leveraging those relationships for future financing and creative financing options. What are some examples of “local” banks? Does this include credit unions? My current mortgages are with Quicken/Rocket Mortgage so that’s certainly not “local” and my primary is with the Credit Union associated with my workplace and offers limited options. I appreciate your insights!
