Mortgage options on multiple properties?
Hi BiggerPockets Community,
I just recently started listening to BiggerPockets and I’ve got a question about getting a mortgage on multiple properties. My wife and I currently rent one side of a duplex in a neighborhood of Columbus, OH that is a little rough but up and coming. Our landlord recently asked me if I would be interested in buying his properties (the duplex we live in, a single family house, and 2 empty lots- all lots and houses are next to each other). He wants to sell them all as a bundle for around $200,000. We want to live in one property. My question is, is it possible to get a mortgage on multiple properties? We have great credit and no debt. Any response or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
