How can I fund deals to maximise leverage as a Non US resident?
Hi,
I'm looking to start investing in real estate and I'm based in the UK. It seems I can get a lot more for my money in the US. For example, a basic 2 bed flat in London (good area) will cost at least $750k and in Manchester $350k. I have seen that you can get properties for $100-250k in good areas in the US with a higher ROI then the UK.
I would like to get involved in multi family real estate after researching the benefits of it and I have nearly $500k to invest with.
Would I be able to get any traditional forms of financing on US properties (mortgages etc.) or would I have to finance the deal in a different way to get a good amount of leverage on my investment?
Thanks!
