High Balance Conforming Mortgage Seasoning?

For high balance conforming mortgages (rate/term) are there any seasoning requirements?

There is a lender that is telling me that there is a 6 month limit from the close of escrow to the date of application for the re-finance. I know this is true for cash out but is it also true for rate and term?
