30 year term in Houston Texas for rental properties

My wife and I recently joined the site and are in the process of exploring rental property opportunities (SFR). I had a question on the typical term for a rental property loan. We have heard that for a rental property, some banks will only lend on the basis of a fifteen year term. However, as I read various books and other resources, I am getting the impression that is wrong and that there are (at least some) banks that offer 30 year loans on rental properties. I am wondering how common a 30 year term is. Is this standard or something that is difficult to obtain? That obviously makes a big difference in calculating the cash flow.

We are going to be exploring banking relationships in the coming months, but I thought this board would be a good place to start for general information.

Thanks in advance.
