How To Find Private Lenders

As the head of a REIA the question I get asked most often is "How do I find private money?" My typical answer is start telling everyone you know and meet that you are a real estate investor. This usually open the door to more conversation. Early in that conversation it's imperative to let them know that private individuals lend you money backed by property to do your deals. The ones who may be interested will usually raise their hands. For those of you investors out there who are successfully using private money, how do you find your lenders?
