advice on the pre approval process

Hi BP,

My name is Leunam, and i'm new to investing. I'm currently beginning the pre approval process. My goal is to buy a 2-4 family home in the Bronx using an Fha loan or a 203k loan. I'm currently putting together a list of banks so I can go and try to get pre approved. My question is If I go to to one branch of lets say JPmorgan, on 123 main street and i get denied, can I expect a different outcome in a different branch, say in 321 main street? Or would I be wasting my time going to different branches of the same bank?

@Leunam Segura you will likely get the same result from the same bank.  Most of us interview many, many banks to find one that specializes in Investment Properties.  And here's a hint:  none of the large banks specialize in investment properties.  I would ask in a separate post and include in your subject line "Looking for investor friendly banks in XXXX"  And let XXXX be the target area you are looking to invest in.  Good luck!
