Looking for local HML for advice on private investing terms
Hi, I'm new to private money lending and once I let people know I'm interested in lending, I started hearing about opportunities galore. I've been trying to do my homework and protect myself as far as screening borrowers, analyzing and asking questions about deals, and making sure I'm on the title and hazard insurance, funds are held in escrow etc. My problem is I'm not familiar with how to set reasonable time and interest terms for borrowers. Is there anyone experienced with lending that I could get some guidance from? Thanks!!
