Hard Money interest

I am a bit confused about hard money interest rates.For example, if you borrow 100K at 15% and pay off in 6 Months is the annual rate 15% and you would pay 7,500 in interest or is the interest 15% for the six month period (15,000) which makes the annual rate 30%. Jim
