Lease Seasoning???
I am looking to buy a new house for myself. We have been living in our current house for a few years now. The plan is to keep our house we are in now and rent it. We have tenants set up to move in as soon as we close on our new house.... Now the bank (we are using a VA loan for the new purchase, the house we are keeping is a conventional loan) is saying that the lease on our house needs to be for 60 days prior to closing on our next house... anyone ever heard of this? I am hoping this isnt a issue because we just got new tenants in another rental that we have so that lease is only 15+/- days old also..
