Getting a mortgage with seasonal work

trying this again...

I'm in the process of buying a house in Philadelphia set to close in a few weeks with conventional mortgage. My job is seasonal (3 months to collect unemployment in the winter) but the loan officer never asked if it was. My Employer completed the written verification but I just found out that they will call for a verbal verification a few days before closing. By that time my work will have ended for the season. It's my first year with a seasonal job so I don't have a history of it... Does anyone have any experience with this or any ideas of how I should proceed? I appreciate any advice. Thanks.
