Independent Contractor Getting Financing

Matthew Anderson

Hello all! I am going to be working as an independent contractor (self-employed) for some-time, likely with a low income starting out. What are peoples' onions on whether this will be a major obstacle to my plans to buy a property in the near future with an FHA loan and house hack? Will not having much steady income to point to make financing out of reach for some time or is there another approach I could take?

Thanks,

Matt
