Funding / Mortgage Brokers

I am from Little Rock AR. I am a new investor trying to put together my team. I have gotten almost everyone situated that I need on my team, but I;m having a hard time finding a mortgage broker to put together funding packages. I am being told that a lot of mortgage brokers are going into banking or that they are not doing the kind of funding I need as REI. Since I am wanting to start with rehabbing properties I would like to have access to private lenders. My question is what other options do I have to put together funding? Is there anyone here that is familiar with Arkansas or know of any mortgage brokers that are investor friendly?
