HI BP COMMUNITY! I can see several posts here about "How to be a PML?". Here's what I can share about it....

To become a private money lender...

  • Understand the basics of private lending
  • Research real estate markets
  • Determine your investment strategy and criteria for loans, including:
    • - Amounts
    • - Interest rates
    • - Repayment terms
  • Create legal documents with a lawyer
  • Network with real estate professionals
  • Perform due diligence on potential borrowers and their projects
  • Begin with smaller loans to gain experience
  • Monitor your investments closely
  • Consider joining a private lending group for additional resources
  • Stay informed about real estate trends, lending practices, and legal regulations
