Gator Lending in NYC and licensure...

Hey everyone,

Hoping for some guidance. Looking to start a gator lending business and live in NYC. I'd be covering arnest EMD as normal all across the US, but am not certain if I'd have a have a liscence to do so. Does anyone have any experience with this? Would I be required to have a liscence in order to engage in this type of transactional lending? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!
