High LTV HELOC on investment properties
Hi All - I am having trouble finding a lender who will do a HELOC on my investment property.
Backstory - I bought a property in Spring 2023 and did renovations. It is now a occupied as LTR. I am trying to leverage this property to purchase a second, whether it is a STR, LTR or house hack, I am unsure, but am running into road blocks with lenders. I am being told many lenders are pulling away from doing high LTV investment property loans. I have spoken with 4 lenders (2 of which were brokers).
Anyone have insight or recent experience with a similar issue? Or know of any lenders in the NY, NJ, PA region that are worth speaking with?
Thanks!
Jeff
