Purchasing with or without LLC

Im new to this marketplace. I want to have my real estate investments under LLCs. If you purchase properties in your own name first (for a smaller downpayment) then move it to an LLC does that lender make you put forward more of the down payment or is there extra cost involved rather than just purchasing the property under the LLC first to begin with? (if purchase under an LLC downpayment requirement is 20% minimum)
