Best option to buy new home - interest rates

I am now getting suggestions to go FHA and pay PMI (locked in eleven years) as opposed to traditional 15- or 30-years loans. Is this what you are all seeing as well? I am contemplating, also, how much to put down vs. invest for a new primary residence as I am moving.
