Low credit score and bank lenders

April Mulroy
Posted

Hello!

I am new here and already loving the collaboration. I recently applied for an investment property and it was declined from lenders because of low credit score. rocket mortgage was asking for above 680. Any advice if there are any lenders that are less strict on approval guidelines?

Ask your loan officer to run simulations with the credit bureau from which they pulled the report. We have the ability to get exact info for you and do a refresh on your score.  Ex: If you need your score above 680 they may say pay X amount on this card, X amount on this card, and pay off this card.  Then you consent to a rescore and your FICO should be fixed.
