Where to get second home loan with 10% down for a condo
Hello BP community,
I was so excited to put my first offer in on a condo in Campton, NH; I had the preapproval and the money to finance a 10% down loan. I got stopped dead in my tracks when my realtor told me most banks will only finance a second home condo with minimum 20% down. I contacted the credit union I was dealing with, and low and behold it was accurate. So now I am completely discouraged. Is there a specific lender that you know that will fund 90% of a condo using a second home loan? Thanks in advance for advice!
