Historic property financing
Recently offered on a historical property. Offer was not accepted but submitted a backup offer and on circling back found out that there are some barriers to financing historical properties with conventional loans. The agent was vague but said they were learning more about the property and that it may not be able to be financed. Anyone with any experience in this? Also, any tips to overcome these barriers and still finance these properties.
