What Sustainable Growth In Equity Is Impressive, Average, Etc. For Real Estate Investors
I have been tracking our arithmetic and geometric growth rates for about a decade now. It is increasingly clear that sustaining the growth rate will become harder and harder with more capital to invest. This got me to thinking about what a nice, sustainable growth rate is.
What would you consider to be a metric for good real estate investors to be? Would a 20% growth in equity do it? More? Less?
What would you say is unimpressive such that one should save their time and simply invest passively instead? 8%? More? Less?
